About Ammper
Ammper is a diversified provider of electrical services. Ammper supplies electricity to Qualified Users, that is, to users with a Contracted Demand greater than 1MW.
Ammper represents generators and qualified users market participants within the Mexican wholesale electricity market, provides physical control services to load centers and generation plants, installs and finances generation plants on site and give advice and purchase of natural gas.
The Team
The was formed by a Software Architect, a Project Manager, a Front-End Developer, a Back-End Developer, a Tester, a Mobile Developer and me as the Principal UX Designer.
The work
We worked together with the client to identify key enhancements to the public website and define the scope for the client portal.
Client Portal
Through their portal the clients were going to be able to see their energy consumption in detail per billing period, site and meter (including information about their energy usage, demand, Power Factor and TOU Hours)
Public Portal
We developed the public website and added enhancements such as the Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista (MEM) section, newsletters, and the geographical location of all the different energy plants managed by the company.
